Elderplace West is a day health program that keeps older adults living in the community as healthy as possible by providing comprehensive integrated health care and social services to participants. San Vicente de Paúl’s Assisted Living Program offers housing for people with disabilities who wish to maintain their independence but require extra assistance with activities of daily living.
We are pleased to report that we have no further incidents of COVID at St Vincent’s Nursing Home. All staff and residents who had tested positive have now tested negative and the outbreak status finished on 11th November 2022. A living will declaration tells physicians how much treatment you want to have should your condition be terminal and you are unable to communicate your wishes. With an emphasis on limiting treatment, the living will must be in writing, and there must be two adult witnesses. Whether you are currently healthy or facing a health challenge, it is important to consider what your wishes would be if you were unable to give direction to your medical caregivers because of unforeseen circumstances. One of our clinicians will provide you the results to share with your primary care physician for any necessary follow-up. At the St. Vincent Outpatient Treatment Center, the first goal is to provide infusion therapy to patients in a safe, efficient, and caring environment. However, with the new law, both the young and old are encouraged to put their health care wishes in writing while they are still healthy and able to make these decisions. If you already have advance directives, please bring a copy with you to the hospital at the time of your admission. Our team understands the science and psychology behind using tobacco. Through a combination of counseling and medication, we'll provide a pathway toward quitting that's right for you.
For patients who cannot take oral medication, we provide the proper education so patients can self-inject their medicine at home. Our team of sleep specialists will provide you with a comprehensive diagnosis and follow up to help determine the best treatment for you. We provide testing for all sleep disorders with state of the art equipment and experienced, credentialed clinical staff. We provide a hotel-like environment with convenient locations to better serve our patients. Transitional care unit (short-stay rehabilitation) for recently discharged hospital patients who need additional nursing care and/or rehabilitation services before returning home. ArchCare complies with all Federal, State, and Local laws, including the Fair Housing Act regarding providing for services to the deaf and hard of hearing.

This representative acts under the conditions spelled out in writing by you, and the document must be witnessed by another adult. Professionals in training are called residents and are always under supervision. Use the nurse call system in your room to contact the nurses' station. Please feel free to ask your nurse if you have questions about your care at St. Vincent. A representative from hospital administration is also available upon request 24 hours a day by calling the hospital operator from the phone in your room.
St Vincent’s Nursing Home should be able to accommodate your Loved One with transportation to and from doctor’s appointments, shopping and religious worship services. Saint Vincent’s Nursing Home is a not-for-profit, community-governed continuing care centre located in the heart of Halifax. United Property Expo is a large-scale international exhibition attended by thousands of people willing to buy property abroad. The event provides an opportunity to discuss the issues of buying and renting real estate all over the world as well as in the local market of Kazakhstan. The Langara residence is home to 197 residents from a variety of cultural backgrounds, as well as a specialized unit serving 20 adult mental health clients.
If your doctor is in private practice, his/her services provided to you while in the hospital will be billed separately. Our Board-Certified Sleep Specialists are available to evaluate and treat all types of sleep disorders. An office visit can be scheduled to determine if a sleep study is needed or to discuss treatment options after the study is completed. At the St. Vincent Outpatient Treatment Center, safe, convenient and comprehensive IV therapy is available for many patients who might otherwise require lengthy hospitalizations. Care is provided by physicians and nurses specializing in infectious disease and infusion services, with the care and attention to detail you expect from St. Vincent.
St. Vincent’s Home is ready to be your facility of choice, whether it be for a short-term rehab stay, or whether you or your loved one are choosing to make St. Vincent’s your new home. At night time, two registered nurses and six carers are present in the Home. Can include music therapy, pet therapy, board games, and outdoor excursions.

It is our philosophy to ensure that everyone is treated with respect and dignity and that they will be cared for until natural death. Our modern, purpose-built Care Home, with its own beautifully landscaped gardens, is located in an idyllic setting on the brow of Haste Hill, right next to Ruislip and Eastcote’s historic woodlands.
Fire safety specialists evaluate whether a facility meets Life Safety Code regualtions put in place by the National Fire Protection Agency . The nursing home health inspection process takes into consideration all major elements of a person’s care in a nursing home facility. Onsite inspectors rate each nursing home on more than 180 different factors. Everyone’s care needs are different, which is why we offer a range of care services to suit individuals. Hair care services are available in the 8402 Professional Building adjacent to the hospital.
Eligible residents of the program receive services through our Licensed Home Care Service Agency, which extend well beyond those offered in a typical enriched living or adult home setting. Along with nurses and physicians, your medical care rests in the hands of numerous health care specialists. Physicians consult with the nursing staff and possibly other medical personnel and are ultimately responsible for your medical care.

To reduce the risk of latex allergies, visitors are asked not to bring latex balloons as gifts. Latex balloons can be exchanged free of charge for mylar balloons in the hospital gift shop.
